Young India Sports University will be Coming Soon: Sridhar Babu
Sridhar Babu urged youngsters to develop their skills in athletics alongside academics, highlighting the importance of a well-rounded education

Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced that a Young India Sports University will soon be established to foster the development of all sports. As part of this initiative, dedicated sports academies will be set up district-wise to support and nurture talent across various disciplines.
The minister emphasised his commitment ensuring that rural youth receive proper training and opportunities in sports. He urged youngsters to develop their skills in athletics alongside academics, highlighting the importance of a well-rounded education.
On Saturday, at the Ministers’ Quarters, Sridhar Babu congratulated Kosaraju Lakshman, who was recently appointed adviser to the Telangana Badminton Association, and Venkata Ramana Reddy, media coordinator. He personally handed over their appointment letters.
As president of the Telangana Badminton Association, the minister guided them in their roles and encouraged efforts to further expand the reach and impact of badminton across the state.
