The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert for various districts of Telangana over the next five days, warning of heavy rainfall and gusty winds ranging from 30–40 km/h at isolated places.
Day 1 (29 May 2025):
Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
Gusty winds (30–40 km/h) are likely across all districts of Telangana.
Day 2 (30 May 2025):
Gusty winds (30–40 km/h) are expected to continue at isolated places across all Telangana districts.
Day 3 to Day 5 (31 May – 2 June 2025):
Gusty winds are forecast at isolated places across a wide range of districts, including Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, and many more.
Day 6 & 7 (3 – 4 June 2025):
No weather warnings issued.
