Yadagirigutta Temple Sees Huge Influx Of Pilgrims

Nalgonda: Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta saw an unprecedented influx of pilgrims on Saturday, with devotees waiting up to two hours for general darshan and one hour for special darshan.
Long queues formed from first light, stretching along the hill shrine’s pathways and prasadam counters. “We reached the temple gate at dawn, but it still took nearly two hours to complete the general darshan,” said Vijay Kumar, a devotee from nearby Nalgonda.
Meanwhile, temple employees staged a silent protest at the executive officer’s office complex, wearing black badges to condemn the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed 26 tourist lives. The staff urged collective prayers for the victims’ families.
Executive officer A. Bhaskar Rao said temple priests offered special rituals for the souls of the Pahalgam victims. “We prayed to Lord Lakshminarasimha Swamy for peace for the departed and strength for their families,” Rao stated, adding that the temple would continue to stand in solidarity with those affected.
