Hyderabad:Serious concerns regarding the rise in incidents of motorists driving on the wrong side at entry points of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) have been raised among commuters. A car driver, who shared dashcam footage, claimed to have narrowly escaped a collision after encountering the truck while negotiating a turn onto the expressway.

In another recent incident, a car was captured driving on the wrong side near the Shamirpet ORR entry point. The video, widely shared online, showed the vehicle moving on the wrong side of the entry point.
Traffic is allowed at 120 kmph on some lanes of the ORR. Vehicles driving on the wrong side of the high-speed lanes poses extreme danger for motorists and highlights major lapses in policing and enforcement at the entry and exit points.
