World Haemophilia Day Organised
Public awareness and early medical intervention play a key role in managing the bleeding disorder and reducing long-term health risks: Medical officials

NIZAMABAD: On the occasion of World Haemophilia Day, Government Medical College and Government General Hospital in Nizamabad jointly organised an awareness rally on Thursday, officials said.
The rally began at Government Medical College and proceeded to the Government General Hospital, where participants raised awareness on haemophilia and stressed the importance of early diagnosis, preventive care and timely treatment to avoid complications, doctors said.
Medical officials said public awareness and early medical intervention play a key role in managing the bleeding disorder and reducing long-term health risks.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of GMC Nizamabad Principal Dr. Krishna Mohan, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Ramulu, Vice Principals Dr. Thirupathi Rao and Dr. Kishore Kumar, and Hemophilia Nodal Officer Dr. Pavan. Medical students, nursing staff and other students also participated in the rally.
