Women Farmers Inaugurate Udyan Utsav 2026
Udyan Utsav 2026 features 50 thematic stalls with nearly 120 exhibitors showcasing agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable practices.

Hyderabad:Udyan Utsav 2026 was inaugurated at the Rashtrapati Nilayam on Friday with the festival being formally opened by two progressive women farmers, Ch Srujana and Kosi Reddy Lavanya Ramana Reddy, highlighting the growing leadership of women in Indian agriculture.
The second edition of the nine-day festival, scheduled from January 3 to January 11, is aligned with the President of India’s vision of transforming the President’s Estates into vibrant hubs of public engagement, learning and ecological awareness. The initiative aims to bring citizens closer to agriculture, sustainability and innovation through interactive displays and knowledge-sharing platforms.
The event is organised by Rashtrapati Nilayam and anchored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, with support from the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE). Dr Sagar Hanuman Singh, director general, MANAGE, Kumar Samresh, Public Relations officer, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Dr K Rajani Priya, officer, President’s secretariat, and Dr Shalendra, director, MANAGE, were present at the inauguration.
Udyan Utsav 2026 features 50 thematic stalls with nearly 120 exhibitors showcasing agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable practices. Major attractions include the Green Knowledge Hub, Millet Mandi and Startup Hub, Eco Bazaar, Plant and Produce Zone, and the Farm-to-Enterprise Zone, which connects citizens directly with products from 59 Farmer Producer Organisations across the country.
