Woman posing as Aghori held for bid to demolish Dargah

Known for her disruptive behaviour, the woman has repeatedly provoked disputes and created chaos in several villages

Karimnagar: A woman, who had pretended to be an Aghori and threatened to demolish the Dargah at a temple, was nabbed by the police on Monday in Jillella village, Thangallapally mandal, Rajanna Sircilla district.

The suspect was intercepted while en route to the temple and, after refusing to exit her vehicle, was detained when police used a towing van to seize her car. She has now been transferred to a Hyderabad police station for further investigation.
Authorities had tightened security in the region after she declared her intention to demolish the Dargah. Police forces were stationed around the temple town of Vemulawada, monitoring all major routes leading into the area.
Known for her disruptive behaviour, the woman has repeatedly provoked disputes and created chaos in several villages. Local people had urged police to take strict action against her due to her ongoing confrontations with villagers.
