Woman Found Dead at Home Over Job Search Struggles in Hyderabad
Swati was found hanging with a chunni in the living room of their residence.
Hyderabad: A woman died by suicide after being distressed over not finding a job. The incident took place at Maruthi Jubilee Enclave in Kapra.
According to reports, the deceased, Swati Mahajan, was married to Gopala Krishna Tulasidas a few years ago. The couple has a six-year-old son.
The family had lived in the United Kingdom for a few years before returning to Hyderabad two years ago.
While Gopala Krishna was employed, Swati had been looking for a job. Police said she allegedly took the extreme step after becoming distressed over not finding employment.
She was found hanging with a chunni in the living room of their residence.
Based on a complaint filed by her husband, police registered a case. Her body was shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
