With Son Facing POCSO Case, Bandi Doubles Down on Innocence
Bandi Sanjay said “I am not a rat hiding in a farmhouse, or someone who came into politics thanks to my father. Those who are making these charges are the ones who cannot face me politically.”

Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar doubled down on the controversy surrounding his son who has been booked in a Pocso case declaring, “I am not one who will get scared by noises and hide like a rat in a farmhouse.” He was speaking ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi address at the Secunderabad Parade Ground.
Sanjay, a warm-up speaker at the large BJP public meeting, without referring to the predicament of his son, said, “I will never do anything that will bring disrepute to the party. Some parties and fools are targeting me over made up charges in an attempt to malign me and the BJP. there is no question of leaving them or letting them get away with such allegations. Trust me when I say I am innocent.”
He also said “I am not a rat hiding in a farmhouse, or someone who came into politics thanks to my father. Those who are making these charges are the ones who cannot face me politically.”
