Will Fight Local Polls Wherever We Have Strength: Kunamneni
The alliance with the party he said will not come in the way of questioning the shortcomings of the Congress. The demands of the RTC workers should be accepted and a strike avoided.

Hyderabad: CPI MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao made it clear that the party will fight wherever they have strength. The Congress, he stated, should not take them for granted thinking they are in power but clarified they are extending support to the party’s Karimnagar graduate MLC candidate.
Addressing the media at the party headquarters Makhdoom Bhavan he said, “The BJP’s strength, which came down in parliament elections, is growing again due to the big brother attitude of the Congress party. The AAP also contributed to this by going for polls on its own and lost Delhi by 2 per cent votes. The Congress bagged six per cent of votes and if the two had come together BJP could have been stopped but Kejriwal was browbeaten from forging an alliance because of the cases against him. The Congress should be liberal and bring all the parties together,” he said.
The alliance with the party he said will not come in the way of questioning the shortcomings of the Congress. The demands of the RTC workers should be accepted and a strike avoided.
On the assertions of Union home minister Amit Shah that Naxalism would be eliminated he stated that the war against them is being done against internationally accepted principles.
The United Nations should intervene and punish him. The Supreme Court can also intervene. CPI doesn’t condone their actions but that they are fighting on behalf of people is not being understood by the people, adding the situation is not conducive for revolution in the country and sought a rethink in their strategy.
The MLA, who met Chilkur Balaji temple priest Rangarajan at the temple, condemned the attack on him in the garb of Ramarajyam outfit. The attack is a result of the situation created by the BJP, RSS and VHP, he said.
