HYDERABAD: AssetNX India Private Limited founder Siddharth Shah adopted a white tiger cub at Nehru Zoological Park on the occasion of his son Chinmay’s 18th birthday.
Chinmay, a first‑year engineering student at CBIT, began his wildlife adoption journey at age five with peacocks. During the 2020 lockdown, he adopted a Royal Bengal Tiger on his 12th birthday and later a cheetah on his 14th birthday. The latest adoption seeks to raise awareness about protecting big cats and supporting their nutrition, medical care and welfare, a press release said.
