Water Supply to Hit in Many Parts on December 27, 28
Water supply will be restored after the completion of the repairs, the board said.

Hyderabad: Drinking water supply to several areas will be disrupted for 36 hours from 6 am on Saturday, December 27, to 6 pm on Sunday, December 28, due to repair and maintenance works on the Krishna Phase-I water supply system.
Areas to be affected are Miralam, Kishanbagh, Balshetty Khet ground, Moghalpura, Falaknuma, Bahadurpura.
Division–II: Mahbub Mansion, Santoshnagar, Vinaynagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asmangadh and Yakutpura.
Division–IV: Bogulakunta, Division–V: Narayanguda, Adikmet reservoir, Shivam reservoir and Chilkalguda reservoir.
Division–VIII: Aliabad reservoir and Riyasatnagar reservoir, Division–X: Parts of Dilsukhnagar. Division–XVIII: Hardware Park, Jalpalli, Tukkuguda and Division–XX: Manneguda.
In a release the water board said the disruption was to facilitate repairs to a 700-mm diameter pipeline which had sprung a leak near the surge tank on Krishna Phase-I, replacement of damaged equipment on the 2,200-mm diameter pumping main between Narsarlapalli and Godakandla, and execution of a 600-mm diameter junction work on the pumping main at Narsarlapalli. In addition, damaged equipment on 600-mm diameter pipelines at the Kodandapur and Narsarlapalli pumping stations will be replaced.
Water supply will be restored after the completion of the repairs, the board said.
