Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has issued a clarification over a fake recruitment poster circulating on social media under the title Hyderabad Water Supply Board, Telangana Recruitment 2026.
According to the Board, the viral poster falsely claims that large‑scale recruitment is underway and includes misleading details about salaries and qualifications.
Officials clarified that no such recruitment process is currently being conducted and termed the information circulating on social media as completely false.
The Board stated that any future recruitment would be carried out strictly in line with government norms through the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) or other authorised agencies.
It further said that genuine notifications would be released only through official government and Water Board websites, as well as credible media platforms.
