Warangal Tops Zonal Police Duty Meet With 28 Medals
Officers who performed well at the zonal meet will represent the region at the State-Level Police Duty Meet to be held at the Malkajgiri Commissionerate: Reports
WARANGAL: The Warangal Police Commissionerate emerged as the top performer at the three-day Bhadradri Zonal Police Duty Meet, which concluded on Thursday at the Mamnoor Police Training Centre.
Police personnel from the Warangal and Khammam Commissionerate’s, along with Mahbubabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts, participated in competitions across disciplines including computer proficiency, forensic science, fingerprint lifting and packing, bomb disposal, dog squad operations, and professional photography and videography.
Warangal Police Commissioner N. Swetha, IPS, presented medals to the winners at the valedictory ceremony. The Warangal Commissionerate secured 28 medals, including 13 gold medals. Bhadradri Kothagudem won 12 medals, Mahabubabad 13 medals, and Khammam nine medals.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Swetha said the competitions provide an opportunity for personnel to improve professional skills and operational efficiency. She said consistent practice and dedication help officers perform effectively in both duties and competitive events.
She added that strengthening professional expertise enables police personnel to handle operational pressures and urged the winners to build on their performance at the state and national levels.
The Commissioner also congratulated officers and staff involved in organising the event.
