Warangal: Social activist Gade Innaiah has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Warangal. The arrest follows his alleged remarks in support of the Maoist movement, made recently at the funeral of deceased Maoist leader Katha Ramachandra Reddy (also known as Vikalp). These comments reportedly caused public outrage and led to charges of incitement.
Innaiah, who operates an orphanage at Zaffarghad mandal in Jangaon district, was taken into custody by four NIA officers in official vehicles. He is expected to be presented before the NIA Court in Nampally.
