Warangal: In a dramatic protest against civic mismanagement, BJP leaders in Warangal East rowed boats across a large waterlogged pit that was originally dug for a new bus stand. The pit, filled with rainwater, has turned into a makeshift pool symbolizing, the leaders said, the ruling party’s failure to deliver basic infrastructure.
Protesters, wearing masks resembling leaders of the ruling party, sailed across the site to draw attention to the state of unfinished projects and poor urban planning in the region. The unique demonstration, which quickly went viral on social media, comes amid growing public criticism over civic conditions and stalled development works in Warangal.
