WARANGAL: A four-year-old boy died after being bitten by two venomous snakes on the same night at Mundichintha Thanda in Devruppula mandal of Jangaon district on Friday.
According to sources, the child was sleeping outdoors with his parents when he was first bitten by a cobra. Within a short interval, he was bitten again by a Russell’s viper.
The parents, alerted by the child’s cries, shifted him to a private hospital in Hanamkonda. Doctors attempted treatment, but he died early on Saturday. Medical sources said the combined venom from the two bites reduced chances of survival.
The incident led to grief in the tribal hamlet, with the family mourning the loss.
