Walk Throws Light on Hyd's History, Culture
Tourism department director Ranjeet Nayak, along with heritage department director Prof. K Arjun Rao, inaugurated the walk at Kazhana building.

Hyderabad:The heritage department organised a walk from Kazhana building museum to Golconda Fort here on Wednesday. The walk was organised as part of the government’s 99-day Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika, aiming at creating awareness among citizens, students and tourists about Hyderabad’s rich history, heritage and culture.
Tourism department director Ranjeet Nayak, along with heritage department director Prof. K Arjun Rao, inaugurated the walk at Kazhana building.
Museums deputy director, P. Nagaraju informed the participants about collections and the importance of the museum. Further, professional tourist guides explained the historical significance of Golconda Fort, its architecture, cultural importance and its role in the history of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.
