VP To Arrive In Hyd On Dec. 20 For 2-Day Visit

In view of the Vice President’s visit, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao held a review meeting with senior officials through a video conference on Wednesday to assess the arrangements: Reports

HYDERABAD: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will be on a two-day visit to Telangana on December 20 and 21. He is scheduled to arrive at the Shamshabad airport on December 20 and proceed directly to the venue where he will attend the valedictory session of the National Conference of Chairpersons of State Public Service Commissions. After the programme, he will stay overnight at the Lok Bhavan in Hyderabad.

On December 21, Radhakrishnan will participate in the World Meditation Day celebrations being organised at Kanha Shanti Vanam in the morning. Following the event, he will return to the Shamshabad airport and depart for New Delhi.

In view of the Vice President’s visit, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao held a review meeting with senior officials through a video conference on Wednesday to assess the arrangements. The discussions focused on security arrangements, traffic regulation, road maintenance along the Vice President’ s travel routes and adherence to protocol norms.

The Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure seamless coordination among departments and instructed them to take all necessary measures to avoid any lapses during the Vice President's visit.

He stressed the need for strict implementation of security and logistical arrangements to facilitate the smooth conduct of the Vice President’s programmes.
