Voters With Revisions Fail To Get Enumeration Forms
Election officials have advised voters not to panic if they have not yet received the form, and voters who do not receive a form can contact their BLO or the local election authorities for assistance.

Hyderabad: A week after the Election Commission began distributing enumeration forms as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, several voters in Hyderabad, whose Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) details were revised, complained that they had not yet received the forms from Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
According to BLOs, the delay mainly affects voters whose EPIC details were corrected or updated earlier. They said that when a revision is made, the voter's serial number in the electoral roll often changes. As a result, BLOs need to verify the updated electoral roll before delivering the pre-filled enumeration forms, causing delays in some cases.
"I corrected my name on my voter card a few months ago. My family and even our neighbours have received their enumeration forms, but I am still waiting”, said Shailaja, a voter in Himayat Nagar. She further said, “I was worried that my name had been missed, but the BLO assured that he will come and give me my form in the following week."
Raghu Vamshi, another voter, said, "My EPIC was updated after an address correction within the same polling booth. When the BLO visited our street, everyone else got their forms except me. I was later told that my voter serial number had changed, and they will get my form later."
A BLO from Secunderabad’s Bansilalpet, who requested not to be named, said that the issue is not uncommon and said, "When an EPIC is revised, the elector's serial number in the latest roll can also change. Their EPIC comes in another supplementary list of the same electoral roll. Those enumeration forms will be made available to us within the next 3 or 4 days. It takes a little extra time, but all eligible voters will receive their forms.”
Election officials have advised voters not to panic if they have not yet received the form, and voters who do not receive a form can contact their BLO or the local election authorities for assistance.
