Vivek Slams KCR’s Frustration, Says Congress Win in Gajwel Has Shaken BRS Leadership

Vivek also noted a strong public endorsement of Congress's schemes, such as Indiramma housing, new ration cards, and enhanced rice supply.

Hyderabad: Minister G. Vivek asserted on Friday that the Congress party has significantly strengthened its position in the Gajwel constituency, evidenced by winning sarpanch posts in over 90 gram panchayats. He claimed these results have "rattled" BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao, alleging KCR's recent remarks were made out of frustration after witnessing the Congress's strong performance, suggesting that "KCR’s heart has started pounding."

Vivek criticised KCR, accusing him of neglecting the people of Gajwel despite being their elected representative and "using them for his political gains."

Furthermore, the minister highlighted the party's success in Dubbak, where Congress candidates secured 56 sarpanch seats—an increase from previous elections—attributing this achievement to the dedicated efforts of the party cadre.

Vivek also noted a strong public endorsement of Congress's schemes, such as Indiramma housing, new ration cards, and enhanced rice supply. Dismissing critics who claimed Congress lacked strength, even in Jubilee Hills, Vivek confidently asserted, "But we will win there with a majority of at least 20,000 votes."
