Video Helps Reunite Missing Boy with Family after 16 Days
The boy went missing from Patancheru 16 days ago
Hyderabad: A video posted on social media helped in reuniting a missing boy with his family in an orphanage in Secunderabad here on Wednesday.
The boy, who is having learning disability, went missing 16 days ago and since then his parents Mallesh and Manjula from Patancheru had been desperately searching for him.
Meanwhile, a group from BRS social media team went to the Home for the Disabled Orphanage to celebrate the birthday of party working president KT Rama Rao, under the party’s Gift a Smile initiative.
The team put up a video of the event on social media. When they were scrolling it, boy’s parents spotted him. They rushed to the orphanage, where they met the staff members who had found the boy near Secunderabad.
The staffer recalled that the boy held his hand and urged him not to leave. He then took him to the orphanage. The parents thanked the authorities and took the boy to their residence.
