Warangal: T. Venkanna on Monday assumed charge as commissioner of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) following his transfer under the latest administrative reshuffle by the state government.
Soon after taking charge, he met Hanamkonda district collector and GWMC special officer Chahat Bajpai at the Collectorate in Hanamkonda and presented her with a sapling.
Bajpai congratulated Venkanna on assuming office and wished him success in his tenure. The officials discussed urban infrastructure, municipal services, sanitation and drinking water supply in the city.
