Vengeful Grudge Within BRS Against Me: Kavitha

HYDERABAD: The internecine battle within the BRS between MLC K. Kavitha, daughter of party president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, and the party leadership showed no sign of abating with Kavitha again accusing some ‘conspirators’ of vengeful actions against her because she questioned how her letters to her father were leaked to the media.
A day after she was unceremoniously removed as honorary president of the Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) and replaced by former minister Koppula Easwar, Kavitha, in a letter on Thursday to Singareni coal mine workers, said a grudge being held against her for questioning internal functioning of the party had turned into acts of vengeance.
Though Kavitha did not name the conspirators, it became evident that her ire was mostly targeted at her brother and party working president K.T. Rama Rao, who she more than once hinted at as one among those behind her troubles, and a few other ‘devils’ around Chandrashekar Rao and keeping him in the dark on the goings on.
Kavitha told the coal mine workers that irrespective of whether or not she held a post or not in TGKBS, she continued to remain a member of every coal mine workers’ family and declared that Easwar’s elevation as the Sangham’s honorary president was purely for political reasons. She questioned the legitimacy of his election as labour laws were violated in picking him for the post.
“Though such conspiracies cause me no personal loss, their clear intention is to remove me and weaken the unity of workers,” she said. Kavitha added that “certain developments have been taking place within the BRS party,” and that after she “demanded that those who leaked my letter and conspired against me be exposed,” instead of addressing her concerns, “a grudge was held against me for simply questioning the party’s internal functioning.”
Kavitha further said “when I asked that the conspirators who leaked my letter be named, vengeance was directed at me. Those same conspirators continue to harass me in various forms,” and the election of a new honorary president to TGKBS while she was abroad, was yet another such action.
