Uppal: Man Arrested for Creating Fake Matrimony Profile, Harassing AP Woman Constable
According to Uppal police, the accused, Pullagura Suryanarayana, created a fake profile on a matrimonial website and claimed to be working as a railway section engineer.
Uppal: Police arrested a 33-year-old man for creating a fake profile on a matrimonial website and harassing a woman constable from Andhra Pradesh.
According to Uppal police, the accused, Pullagura Suryanarayana, created a fake profile on a matrimonial website and claimed to be working as a railway section engineer. A woman constable from Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, believed the details provided by him and became close to him. The two were in a relationship for some time.
However, the woman later discovered that the details shared by Suryanarayana were fake. He collected Rs. 1.10 lakh from her and threatened to leak her private videos.
The woman subsequently lodged a complaint with Uppal police. Based on the complaint, police arrested Suryanarayana and sent him to judicial remand.
