UoH episode a lesson for 'will do as we please' Congress government: KCR
KCR said, "The Congress government should learn the lesson that irresponsible actions will have consequences, and students and courts will force the government to realise its wrongs."

Hyderabad: BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao spoke on the Kancha Gachibowli land row for the first time, saying the episode was a lesson for the Congress on how not to assume it could get away with anything just because it was in power. He had earlier directed the party to fight for protecting the land.
Addressing party leaders from Khammam, Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar districts at his Erravalli farmhouse, Rao complimented University of Hyderabad students for their steadfast opposition and fight to protect the land from development and environmental destruction.
The BRS, he said, had worked hard and carefully to develop Telangana, and place it ahead of the rest of the states. "But the Congress government, with the UoH episode, has destroyed the state's reputation. The Congress attitude appears to be it does not care for the people, their needs, their feelings. All that Congress seems to care about is its selfish politics to hold on to power by any means. The Congress and its leaders have become a curse on Telangana," he said.
Rao said: “Anyone who thinks they can get away with irresponsible behaviour, say whatever that comes to their minds, should learn from this episode. The Congress government should learn the lesson that irresponsible actions will have consequences, and students and courts will force the government to realise its wrongs.”
The meeting was part of a series being chaired by Rao to rally BRS leaders from various districts for the April 27 public meeting in Warangal district to mark 25 years of the party formation.
