Unknown Person’s Chopped Body Parts Found in Well in Kamareddy

Hyderabad: The Kamareddy police found the chopped body parts of an unknown person aged around 35 in an abandoned well dumped with garbage on Monday morning.
The incident came to light when a person came to collect waste papers and other articles from the garbage and noticed a plastic bag. After opening it, he found lower parts of the body. He then informed the matter to locals, who alerted the police.
Kamareddy Inspector B Narahari said the mystery behind the case could be unraveled only after identifying the body. It seems that the persons known to the deceased first chopped the body with an axe elsewhere and later dumped the body parts in the well to conceal the identity.
“We are examining the footage collected from the surveillance cameras installed at the spot and its surroundings to trace the persons who dumped the plastic bag in the well,” he explained, adding that further investigation is on.
