Unhygienic Conditions Prevail at Residential School in Khammam: ACB

Unhygienic washrooms and poor maintenance of rooms and premises were noticed in the school during the surprise check: ACB

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday conducted a surprise check at Minority Residential School and College for Boys at Ammapalem in Konijerla Mandal in Khammam district.

The ACB teams were assisted by Inspector Legal Metrology, Sanitary Inspector, Food Inspector and Auditor to check the quality, quantity of the food, sanitation conditions, strength particulars of the students, records etc.

During the searches, some irregularities such as unhygienic washrooms, poor maintenance of rooms and premises were noticed in the school and college. Improper maintenance of registers was also noticed. A report is being sent to the State government against the officials concerned for taking necessary action.
