ADILABAD: Two youths died after a lorry hit their bike on NH 44 at Dichpalli while they were travelling from Kamareddy to Jakranpalli, police said on Thursday.
The victims were identified as Chinna Swamy, 20, and Balaram Nani, 20, both residents of YSR Colony in Jakranpalli.
Police said the lorry, which was coming from behind, allegedly hit the bike when its driver tried to avoid hitting a car.
Nizamabad Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaithanya visited the accident spot and instructed police officers to take steps to prevent such incidents. Nizamabad ACP Prakash, Dichpalli CI Vinod and SI Arif were present.
