Khammam/Asifabad: The last day of Bathukamma celebrations turned tragic in two parts of Telangana when two women died after suddenly collapsing during festivities.
As per reports, in Appalanarasimhapuram village of Nelakondapalli mandal, Yalagala Bharati (55) collapsed suddenly while loud DJ music was being played during the celebrations. She reportedly died on the spot. Villagers attributed her collapse to the high-volume sound system, though the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed.
In a separate incident, Srivani (25), a teacher at a private college in Hyderabad, had travelled to her grandmother’s house in Boorugada village near Asifabad to celebrate Bathukamma.
