TVVP Extends Tenure Of 2,160 Outsourcing, MTS Personnel Until March 31

The continuation applied from April 1, 2026, and may end earlier until the regular posts are filled up, or till the actual need ceases, whichever is earlier.

Hyderabad:The state government has extended the tenure of 2,160 contract, outsourcing and minimum time scale (MTS) personnel under the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP) until March 31, next, covering doctors, nurses, technicians and support staff. The annexure contained an unexplained numerical mismatch: its final classification addded up to 2,188 services, 28 more than the approved total.

The finance department GO issued on July 24 permitted 794 contract services, 1,284 outsourcing services and 82 MTS services under the administrative control of the TVVP Commissioner. The continuation applied from April 1, 2026, and may end earlier until the regular posts are filled up, or till the actual need ceases, whichever is earlier.

The 68-page order had 658 district and service-wise entries. They included civil assistant surgeons and specialists, staff nurses, ANMs, pharmacists, lab and radiology technicians, security guards, data-entry operators, drivers, electricians and other hospital workers.

Contract and MTS personnel must receive payment through IFMIS-DBT, while outsourcing personnel will be paid through a third-party agency. Fresh agreements must be signed with individuals and the outsourcing agency. The order bars retired employees without government approval and requires finance department permission before anyone is appointed against vacant posts.
