TUTF warns against misuse of logo, threatens legal action

The Telangana United Teachers’ Federation (TUTF) on Saturday issued a stern warning against the unauthorised use of its logo and letterhead, stating that legal action will be taken against those misrepresenting the organisation.

Hyderabad:The Telangana United Teachers’ Federation (TUTF) on Saturday issued a stern warning against the unauthorised use of its logo and letterhead, stating that legal action will be taken against those misrepresenting the organisation.

TUTF leaders Ramineni Venkateshwarlu (RV) and Lachumalla Venkanna accused T. Lachhiram and P. Raghunandan Reddy of falsely using TUTF’s identity during the MLC elections, issuing press statements and endorsements that do not reflect the federation’s official stance. They alleged that these individuals had participated in campaign meetings for other candidates while fraudulently presenting themselves as TUTF representatives.

“No one other than the officially registered leadership has the right to use TUTF’s name, logo, or letterhead. Any further misuse will face strict legal consequences,” the leaders told Deccan Chronicle.

They added that TUTF has been a legally registered organisation since 2011 (Reg. No: 501/2011, dated 23/10/2011) and that any parallel entity claiming to operate under different leadership holds no legal standing.
