Hyderabad: A tuition teacher allegedly burned a seven-year-old boy with a hot ladle in Filimnagar. Class 1 student from OU Colony, was reportedly assaulted by his tutor, identified as Srimanas.
According to police, the teacher allegedly punished the child for not studying properly and inflicted burn injuries. The tutor used a hot ladle to burn the boy in at least eight places.
Upon learning about the assault, the child’s parents lodged a complaint at the Filmnagar Police Station. The police shifted the boy to the Golconda Area Hospital for medical examination.
The parents have demanded strict action against Srimanas, alleging that their son is unable to walk due to the severity of the burns. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
