TSUTF Pushes for Enrolment in Govt Schools
Apart from the schools where they currently teach, members have been asked to cover surrounding areas in their mandals. They intend to involve local representatives, officials and well-wishers to back the effort.

Hyderabad: To increase student enrolment in government schools across Telangana, the Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TSUTF) has announced a week-long series of campaign rallies between May 25 and May 31.
The move comes after an online meeting held by the state committee, which has asked all its district and mandal bodies to organise local outreach events. Volunteers will visit villages in groups, use songs and performances to explain the role of government schools and speak to communities about why their support matters.
Apart from the schools where they currently teach, members have been asked to cover surrounding areas in their mandals. They intend to involve local representatives, officials and well-wishers to back the effort.
One of the key suggestions is that primary schools should begin offering LKG and UKG classes. Teaching in both Telugu and English mediums is expected to draw children who would otherwise attend private institutions.
The federation believes that strengthening enrolment is the first step to protecting government schools. Every member has been requested to take part in the rallies and make the campaign a success.
