HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) on Monday announced the final selection of 1,604 candidates for Driver and Shramik posts in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), while 139 of the 1,743 notified vacancies remained unfilled due to the non‑availability of eligible candidates.
The recruitment, notified on September 17, 2025, covered 1,000 Driver and 743 Shramik posts. The board selected 894 candidates for Driver posts and 710 candidates for Shramik posts, including 16 women, after completing the recruitment process.
According to the TSLPRB, Driver selections were based on weightage marks and driving test scores, while Shramik selections were based on weightage marks. The board said candidates’ educational qualifications, reservation claims, age relaxation and other benefits were verified during certificate verification conducted at the Police Training College, Medchal, between April 23 and June 25, 2026.
The board uploaded individual selection details in candidates’ login accounts on its website, along with selection lists and category‑wise cut‑off marks for public reference.
TSLPRB said the selections are provisional and subject to character and antecedent verification, verification of certificates and medical examination. Selected candidates must complete and submit an online attestation form and related documents between 8 am on August 7 and midnight on August 11.
Three printed copies of the attestation form, signed, certified by a gazetted officer and accompanied by relevant certificates, must be submitted on August 17 at the designated police offices of the erstwhile districts or commissionerates, depending on the post.
