TS ECET on May 15: Candidates Told to Report by 7.30 am

No entry after 9 am; 18,626 students to appear across 76 centres

Hyderabad: Candidates appearing for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS Ecet)-2026 on May 15 have been instructed to report at their examination centres by 7.30 am to complete verification formalities and photo capture before the test begins.

The examination will be conducted online from 9 am to 12 noon across Telangana. Authorities clarified that candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 9 am under any circumstances, and no one will be permitted to leave before the exam concludes at noon.

Candidates have been advised to carry their hall ticket, a blue or black ball pen, and a valid original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, college ID or driving licence.

Officials said calculators, mathematical or log tables, mobile phones, digital watches, papers, electronic gadgets and other personal belongings are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Any belongings kept outside the hall will be at the candidate’s own risk.

Candidates and parents have also been advised to visit the examination centres in advance to avoid confusion on the exam day.

The entrance examination will be conducted at 76 test centres, including 36 in the Hyderabad region and 40 in other districts of Telangana. A total of 18,626 candidates are expected to appear for the examination.
