Truck Driver Dies In Road Accident In Khammam District

According to police, the container truck went out of control and rammed into a roadside tree. Arif was trapped inside the cabin and died on the spot due to severe injuries.

Khammam: A truck driver has died in a road accident at Tekulapalli in Penuballi mandal of Khammam district shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Arif, 38, a native of Karnataka.
According to police, the container truck went out of control and rammed into a roadside tree. Arif was trapped inside the cabin and died on the spot due to severe injuries.
On receiving information, Penuballi police reached the spot, retrieved the body from the cabin and shifted it to the government hospital at Sathupalle for post-mortem examination.
Police suspect that drowsy driving may have caused the accident. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
