Tribal Mulugu Leads SSC Results In State With 99.3% Pass

District collector Bhorkade Hemant Sahadev Rao and panchayat raj minister Seethakka expressed satisfaction over the performance: Reports

WARANGAL: Mulugu district secured first rank in Telangana in the SSC (Class 10) examination results announced on Wednesday, recording a pass percentage of 99.3. Of the 3,287 students who appeared, 3,264 cleared the examination.

District collector Bhorkade Hemant Sahadev Rao and panchayat raj minister Seethakka expressed satisfaction over the performance.

The collector cited the performance of K. Krishna of Zilla Parishad High School, Eturnagaram, who topped the district with 589 marks.

Seethakka said that despite Mulugu being a tribal and agency area, coordinated efforts by teachers and officials enabled the district to outperform others. She said the government remained committed to providing quality education to students from poor and backward communities.

District education officer Allam Sidharth Reddy told Deccan Chronicle that the results were the outcome of structured planning. He said former collector T.S. Divakara had prepared an action plan based on earlier performance data, with a focus on academically weak students.

He said special classes were conducted in the mornings and evenings, and teachers put in additional hours to improve comprehension. Two pre-final examinations were held to familiarise students with the board exam pattern, and simplified study material was prepared for those requiring additional support.

Teachers also continued academic support during the examination gaps, providing guidance and practice. The DEO said the coordinated efforts of headmasters and subject teachers contributed to the district securing the top rank in the state.
