Tremors Felt In Maharashtra Districts, Telangana Residents Make Enquiries
A mild earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale was felt in Nanded: Reports

NIZAMABAD: A mild earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale was felt in Nanded, Hingoli and Parbhani districts of Maharashtra on Saturday, with tremors reported in several areas.
The tremors were felt in Nanded city and areas including Ardhapur, Mudkhed, Loha, Naigaon, Hadgaon and Himayatnagar talukas. Residents in towns and villages reportedly rushed out of their homes after feeling the tremors.
The epicentre was located north of Shirli village in Vasmat taluka of Hingoli district.
There are regular links between families and business communities in Telangana and Maharashtra, as the erstwhile Nizamabad district shares a border with Nanded district.
Meanwhile, a large number of people from Maharashtra work in different sectors in the erstwhile Nizamabad district. They made enquiries about the impact of the earthquake in their native places in Nanded, Hingoli and Parbhani districts.
