Trainee IPS Officer Held in Miryalguda in Sexual Harassment Case

Hyderabad:Trainee IPS officer Mulagani Uday Krishna Reddy, wanted in a complaint of alleged sexual harassment filed by a fellow woman IPS trainee, was taken into custody from Miryalguda on Tuesday. The accused has denied the allegations.

Attapur police, who had registered the case, went to serve notices on the accused trainee at both the addresses mentioned by him but failed to find him. His mobile phone was also switched off.

Following this, Rajendranagar DCP S. Sreenivas said, the police formed four special teams to locate Krishna Reddy.

However, Krishna Reddy maintained that he was not absconding: He had gone to meet his ailing grandmother at his native place in Prakasam district in AP. His family members received the notice, he said, and he was about to appear before the police when he was arrested.
