Traffic Curbs in Hyderabad Ahead of Modi’s Visit

Hyderabad: In view of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit and public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Sunday, the Malkajgiri imposed traffic diversions and restrictions leading towards the venue due to VVIP movement and large public gatherings.
The traffic restrictions will be enforced between 1 pm and 9 pm. The major diversions will be implemented from Begumpet, Sangeeth via Paradise, Patny and Clock Tower.
These restrictions will be imposed at Begumpet, Trimulgherry via St. John’s, AOC, KV, Balanagar, Secunderabad via Ameerpet, Panjagutta, Begumpet, Secunderabad, Bowenpally via Patny, Paradise and CTO, Tank Bund, Trimulgherry via Tadbund and Diamond Point
The police urged the people to prefer metro rail and public transport and use alternate routes and plan travel in advance. The motorists must avoid roadside parking near event routes and follow traffic diversions and police instructions.
Twelve designated parking areas have been arranged for public convenience while QR-code based navigation support will be available to guide commuters to parking locations.
