Visakhapatnam: Traffic movement was disrupted at Vepagunta main stretch in Pendurthi mandal when devotees started heading to their residences after completing Giripradakshina at Simhachalam temple on Thursday.
The traffic police faced several problems regulating traffic when a large number of vehicles of devotees came to the main road from four sides at Vepagunta causing chaos. Owing to sweltering heat conditions, elderly persons and children faced problems.
The people got stuck in traffic for over three hours. The situation later came under control when the police regulated traffic bringing much needed relief for them.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
