Traffic advisory on TG police programme `Arrice Alive`
Parking for the general public has been arranged at the TGSP Battalion Ground, Yousufguda.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police said vehicles would be diverted from 2.30 pm to 6 pm on Monday from roads leading to the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda, in view of the launch of the ‘Arrive Alive’ road safety campaign.
Stating that there could be moderate congestion on the roads around the venue, D. Joel Davis, city traffic police joint commissioner, in a press note advised motorists to avoid routes leading to the stadium and use alternative roads.
Vehicles from Maitrivanam junction towards Rahmathnagar, Karmikanagar and Borabanda bus stop will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards Krishnakanth Park, GTS Temple, Kalyannagar, Mothinagar and Borabanda bus stop.
From Maitrivanam junction towards Jubilee Hills checkpost via Yousufguda checkpost and Madhapur will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards RBI Quarters and Krishnanagar junction.
Vehicles from Jubilee Hills checkpost and Venkatagiri towards Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium will be diverted at Krishnanagar junction towards Srinagar Colony and Panjagutta.
Traffic from Borabanda bus stop heading towards Karmikanagar, Rahmathnagar and Yousufguda check post will be diverted at Sriramnagar crossroads towards Midland Bakery, GTS Colony, Kalyannagar junction, Vengal Raonagar, Umesh Chandra statue U-turn, ICICI U-turn and Maitrivanam junction.
