Traffic Advisory Issued Ahead of Messi GOAT Tour in Hyderabad
Moderate congestion is expected between 2 pm and 11.50 pm on routes from Falaknuma to Uppal via Santoshnagar and from Secunderabad to Uppal via Habsiguda

HYDERABAD: The Rachakonda police on Friday issued a traffic advisory in view of the match featuring football icon Lionel Messi and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, scheduled at the Uppal stadium on Saturday.
Moderate congestion is expected between 2 pm and 11.50 pm on routes from Falaknuma to Uppal via Santoshnagar and from Secunderabad to Uppal via Habsiguda. Motorists were advised to avoid these stretches and use public transport such as RTC buses and Metro Rail.
Rachakonda police commissioner G. Sudheer Babu requested motorists to plan their travel in advance, follow the diversions and prefer public transport to ensure smooth movement on match day.
Traffic from Tarnaka to Uppal will be diverted at Habsiguda crossroads towards Nacharam, NFC Rotary, IOCL Cherlapally and Ghatkesar. Vehicles from Ramanthapur to Uppal will be diverted at Street No. 8 towards Habsiguda crossoads, Nacharam, NFC Rotary, IOCL Cherlapally and Ghatkesar.
Ten major parking locations have been arranged for the event. Nine parking lots for the general public are located within one kilometre of the stadium – Penguin, TG IALA, LFJC and the Municipal Ground on the Habsiguda-Uppal stretch, and Jain Parking, Sand Adda, Modern Bakery, and Vasu Pharma on the Ramanthapur-Uppal stretch.
One exclusive parking zone inside the stadium is reserved for VVIPs, VIPs and authorised pass holders, and vehicles without valid passes will not be allowed beyond the EK Minar and LG Godown check posts.
Visitors coming from LB Nagar must park at Jain Parking, Sand Adda, Eenadu Office or Agarwal Parking; those coming from Habsiguda must park at Penguin, TG IALA, Little Flower Junior College or the Municipal Ground; those arriving from Ramanthapur must use Jain Parking, Sand Adda, Eenadu Office or Agarwal Parking after taking a U-turn at DSL Mall; and those approaching from Uppal Bhagayath may also use the Jain, Sand Adda, Eenadu Office or Agarwal facilities.
Heavy vehicles including lorries, dumpers, earth movers, water tankers, RMC trucks and all categories of trucks will face restrictions between 12 pm and 11.50 pm.
Heavy vehicles approaching Uppal from Ghatkesar will be diverted at the HMDA Uppal Bhagayath entrance towards Nagole and LB Nagar. Heavy vehicles from LB Nagar towards Uppal will be diverted at the Nagole Metro Rail station u-turn towards Nagole, HMDA Bhagayath, Boduppal, Chengicherla and IOCL Cherlapally or Ghatkesar.
Heavy vehicles from Warangal towards Hyderabad via Uppal must take the ORR at Ghatkesar and proceed via Abdullapurmet, LB Nagar and Dilsukhnagar. Vehicles from Hyderabad towards Warangal via Uppal shall proceed through LB Nagar and Hayathnagar and take the ORR at Abdullapurmet.
