TPCC Chief Hails 1,000 Days of Congress Govt
Big boost was accorded to education and health sectors during 1000-days in governance: Mahesh Kumar Goud
Hyderabad: With the blessings of the people, the State government has completed 1000 days in governance, which is a milestone, said TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud here on Monday.
“Big boost was accorded to education and health sectors during 1000-days in governance,” he said in a post on ‘X’ and extended best wishes to the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Ministers, people's representatives, and Congress cadre.
He said the State government gave top priority to farmers' welfare and accordingly waived of crop loan upto Rs.2 lakh benefiting as many as 25 lakh farmers. It increased Rythu Bharosa to Rs.12,000 per acre and strengthened rural economy with paddy procurement, fine grain bonus.
The government spent Rs.1.75 lakh crore on agriculture sector, creating a record and Rs.30,000 crore on free agricultural electricity. It allocated nearly Rs.4,000 crore for fine grain bonus in addition to spending Rs.3,500 crore on Rythu Bima.
The government is giving free electricity up to 200 units under Griha Jyothi scheme and distributing LPG cylinders for Rs.500 besides issuing 16.32 lakh new ration cards to fulfill the hopes of the poor, benefiting 3.43 crore people with 1.06 crore food security cards.
