TPCC Chief Alleges Bandi Won Using Fake Votes in Karimnagar
Goud displayed the voters’ list of Karimnagar town showing 40 voters registered at a single house

ADILABAD: TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud on Monday alleged that votes were stolen during the last Parliament elections in Telangana. He claimed that votes were manipulated in the Karimnagar constituency, from where Bandi Sanjay was elected, and displayed the voters’ list of Karimnagar town showing 40 voters registered at a single house.
He further alleged that voter lists were tampered with in other constituencies where BJP candidates won. Goud added that the 42 per cent BC reservations Bill could become an Act in a single day if BJP MPs extend their support.
He also said lakhs of people were participating in Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar, proving that people strongly believe in Rahul Gandhi’s expose of “vote chori” by the BJP to win MP seats and capture power.
Mahesh Kumar Goud was speaking at a corner meeting held as part of the Janahitha Padayatra at Ambedkar Chowrasta in Wardhannapet constituency, Warangal district. Congress leaders walked a 3 km padayatra from Illanda.
Criticising the BRS, he said its top leaders were preoccupied with property disputes among themselves and had no concern for the people. He added that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was confined to his farmhouse and questioned the need for him to hold the position of Opposition leader when he was not attending Assembly sessions. According to him, KCR was busy resolving family disputes rather than addressing public issues.
AICC in-charge for Telangana, Meenakshi Natarajan, recalled that it was the Congress government which had introduced landmark schemes like NREGS. She said there are two political models in the country: one that promotes democracy, equality, and love, upholding the values of B.R. Ambedkar and Jyotirao Phule, which Rahul Gandhi is fighting for, and another that spreads hatred, denies people their right to vote by deleting names from voter rolls, and benefits a handful of industrialists like Ambani and Adani, represented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Minister Konda Surekha said the state government was striving to ensure welfare schemes reach all eligible households and appealed to Congress leaders to help identify bogus voters in the upcoming local body elections.
Those present included minister Konda Surekha, MLAs Yashashwini Reddy, K.R. Nagaraj, N. Rajender Reddy, Balaram Naik, former MLC Konda Murali, Advisor to the state government Vem Narender Reddy, Deputy Speaker Ramachandru Naik, and DCC president Yerrabelli Swarna.
