Tourism Dept Invites Application for 100 Weekend Wonders of Telangana Contest
Contest invites photos, videos and travel details; entries open till January 5
Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism has launched Rs 100 Weekend Wonders of Telangana’, a contest for participants to showcase hidden spots for weekend visits via three photographs and a 60-second video. It is aimed at encouraging tourists and content creators to explore the state’s lesser-known destinations.
Each entry must feature an accessible destination within Telangana, along with basic travel details, a 100-word description, and a Google Maps link. Entries opened on Wednesday and will close on January 5 next. Participants can submit entries using the QR code or by posting on Instagram or X with the hashtags #100WeekendWonders and #TelanganaTourism.
Winners will be announced during the Sankranti Kite Festival.
The top prize is worth Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 for the second place and Rs 20,000 for the third, along with 10 consolation prizes offering a complimentary two-day stay at Haritha Hotels.
