Hyderabad: On the occasion of Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s birthday, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, on behalf of the gathering and the four crore people of Telangana, extended his heartfelt birthday wishes to her.
“Mrs Sonia Gandhi has an inseparable bond with the state of Telangana and its people,” he said.
“Mrs Gandhi is not just a political leader; she’s a symbol of hope for many," Reddy continued. “She is a great leader who, respecting the 60-year-long struggle and fulfilling the aspirations of four crore people, realised our decades-old dream.”
Once again, I extend my heartfelt birthday wishes to Mrs Sonia Gandhi, he said.
It is a well-known fact that without the resolve of Mrs Gandhi, the dream of Telangana might not have been realised so soon.
Even former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao acknowledged Mrs Gandhi’s pivotal role in the creation of a separate Telangana state. Her dedication to our cause was evident when she stood firm against all odds to ensure that our voices were heard in the parliament.
