Tirupati-Hisar Express Compartment Catches Fire
The railway police booked a case and took up the investigation to know the cause of fire

Hyderabad: A train compartment of Tirupati-Hisar express caught fire at Tirupati railway station on Monday. Luckily, no one was injured.
The train was on the loopline while heading to the garage when the fire broke out. At the same time, flames spread to the generator coach of Rayalaseema express on the adjoining track.
While the compartment of Tirupati-Hisar was burnt completely in the fire, the generator coach of Rayalaseema express was damaged partially.
On receiving information to the fire control room, a fire tender rushed to the spot and the flames were doused within half an hour. The fire-fighters first detached the compartment of Tirupati-Hisar, where the fire broke out with other compartments, and then carried out fire-fighting operations.
The railway police booked a case and took up the investigation.
