In one of the worst ever fire accidents in the city, 17 members of a jeweller’s family, including eight children died, when a fire broke out in their building near Charminar, Old City on Sunday

Timeline:
5.45 am: Fire spreads in ground floor of building at Gulzar Houz.
6 am: Onlookers and neighbours rush in to douse the flames.
6.16 am: Firefighters receive distress call.
6.17 am: Fire vehicle leaves Moghalpura station.
6.20 am: Fire vehicles arrive at accident site.
6.30 am: Paramedics and ambulances arrive.
6.45 am: Fire engines from other stations arrive.
7.20 am: Firefighters break wall, rescue inmates
7.50 am: Fire in the ground floor doused.
8.30 am: Fire across the building is extinguished.
8.50 am: Last victim transferred to hospital.
